The end goal is to help people. I always knew I wanted to help people. However, it was hard to find a method to help others that  utlilized my skillset and my interest in design, art, and being creative. I lacked a sense of identity, confidence, and struggled to find what my voice was. This changed the day I understood that I was not alone.

As a creative person, I have always been drawn towards artistic hobbies like illustration, crafting, modeling, and editing. These were my personal outlets for expression, and through digital media, I have discovered a way to take advantage of what I love to do to help others. I aim to help other people find their sense of identity, and become a catalyst for other people to express themselves in unqiue and strategic ways. It is extremely important for me to make sure that everyone recognizes their voices and know that they will always be heard. Digital media has encouraged me to break out of my shell, reconnect with myself, my style, and my identity, and I look to help others do the same.

I am a digital media strategist that is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media at the University of Houston. During my time at the University of Houston, I was grateful to be awarded scholastic achievements in Organizational Leadership & Supervision and Individualized Communication Processes. I have  had the honor of beingon the Dean’s Honor List during the Fall of 2020, the Fall of 2021, and the Spring of 2022. I was offered an amazing opportunity to work alongside Treebeards as a freelance photographer for their on-line menu. I also had anamazing opportunity to intern with Girlsstart, an organization set to empoweryoung girls in STEM. Through this internship, I was supervised a classroom of young girls and acted as a role-model that guided them problem-solving experiments; it is important for me to teach young girls that there is a space for them in the future of STEM.
